Surface hoar formed overnight. 20 cm settling storm snow. 80 cm storm snow overlies the Jan 12 widespread surface hoar, and a rime crust open areas treeline and alpine. This layer was not reactive in recent test profiles (Merlot, Chicken Knob, Crystal Vision).

No new avalanches yesterday.
