Cold temps maintaining light dry powder skiing conditions. Surface hoar growing. Sun crust on steep south east and south aspects. Past wind effect ridge top and alpine from moderate north west winds. 35 cm settling storm snow bonding well to sun crust on south aspect below tree line, 70 cm settled storm snow over the February 2 rain crust.

Small solar triggered loose wet avalanches from cliffs yesterday.

So much good skiing yesterday - first tracks ever on south side of Sol Mtn. Also skied Sol Bowl, Tubal, Tunnel Vision, Chardonnay, and Captain Petes. Let the good times roll !
