Cold temps maintaining light dry powder skiing conditions. Sun crust formed on steep south east and south aspects yesterday. Recent wind effect ridge top and alpine from moderate north west winds. 35 cm settling storm snow bonding well to sun crust on south aspect below tree line, 70 cm settled storm snow over the February 2 rain crust.
Small solar triggered loose wet avalanches from cliffs yesterday.
Skiing a lot of different places yesterday - some not on the map! Twin Peaks east, Tunnel Vision, Peters Glade, Avalung, and Know Where to Hide. Great day in the hills for sure.
