Blower pow hanging in there in protected north aspects above 1700 m. Sun crust on all solar aspects. Light to modereate wind effect at ridge top and alpine. Total 45-60 cm storm snow settling over the March 8 sun crust and surface hoar layer. The early Feb melt freeze crust is down 120 - 150 cm. Mid and lower snowpack is well consolidated and supportive. Average 280 cm, up to 320 cm in lee terrain.
