The early Feb melt freeze crust is down 120 - 150 cm. Mid and lower snowpack is well consolidated and supportive. Average 280 cm, up to 320 cm in lee terrain.

Ski cut a size 1.5 persistent slab pocket down 80 cm yesterday, steep gully sidewall.

Groups skiing some south facing Back to Basics in the morning and lapping north facing pow in Chicken Knob, Laid Back, and Banana Belt yesterday.
