- 5.0, snowing, light W winds. 6 cm new snow. New snow overlies settled pow, and wind effected surfaces. 30 - 40 cm recent storm snow overlies the December 10 layer of rime crust and surface hoar which is bonding . 130 - 175 cm overlies the Dec 7 rain crust - which is bonding in snow pack tests.

No new avalanches yesterday - further evidence of Jan 13 natural cycle to size 2 at all elevations (good clean out in Caribou Pass area).

Sunshine and wind packed pow in the alpine yesterday - skiing Chardonnay, Avalung, Peters Glades, and Shiraz on the way home.
