17 deg C. Clear blue, Calm wind. No new snow!

The heat is on and the snow is melting quickly. A few snow patches at tree line, up to 40% snow cover in the alpine depending on aspect and steepness.

Glacier lilies are fading. Globe flowers, paintbrush, arnica, and the heather is blooming in the alpine. Below tree line lupin, paint brush, and buttercups are blooming.

Hiking is open. Trails are open to mountain biking. Day-trippers are welcome - all trail donations include a cold beer at Sol Lake. Please park up the road from our guest parking area.
