20 cm recent low density storm snow. Total 50 - 70 cm storm snow settling over Nov 21 layer of surface hoar, facets, and sun crust on south aspects. Storm slab producing sudden planar results in test profiles. Even solid coverage 120 - 140 cm down to 1600 m.

Widespread whumphing in all terrain. One natural size 1.5 observed on a south aspect at 1900 m yesterday.
