-3.0, Overcast, Snowing heavily, strong SW wind. 20 cm new snow. 60 - 100 cm recent storm snow overlies the December 8 freezing rain crust. Extensive strong SW wind effect overnight. Generally good coverage. Creeks are pretty open.

Widespread natural cycle yesterday to size 3. The slab is ripe and propagative on the Dec 8 facets and crust. Also remoted 2 size 2 slabs on Premium Red from 75 m away. With more snow and wind overnight we expect the cycle to continue. If you are thinking about being in the backcountry today avoid avalanche terrain - its simple.

Guests skiing simple terrain yesterday - Merlot, Premium Red, C’est Bon. Sammy C and Uy crew doing funky aerials in the Shazam left talus.
