Wind effect ridge top and alpine from previous moderate north west winds. 80 cm storm snow overlies the Jan 12 widespread surface hoar, and a rime crust open areas treeline and alpine. This layer has not been reactive in recent test profiles (Merlot, Chicken Knob, Crystal Vision).

No new avalanches yesterday.
