New snow overlies a sun crust on solar aspects and previous settling storm snow. Total 50 cm over a thick as a brick supportive crust from the late January melt. Mid and lower snowpack is well consolidated and supportive. Average 240 cm, up to 300 cm in lee terrain. Pockets of windslab at ridge top.
