15-20 cm recent storm snow overlies previous surface hoar facets in sheltered terrain, sun crust on solar aspects, and wind effect in the alpine. Variable sun crust formed on south aspects. The early Feb melt freeze crust is down 50 cm. Mid and lower snowpack is well consolidated and supportive. Average 240 cm, up to 300 cm in lee terrain.

One skier triggered size 1 yesterdays, pocket of slab released on steep convex feature.

Groups skiing C’est Bon, Twighlight Zone, Ned Zone, Merlot, Chardonnay, Peters Glades, and Avalung yesterday. Avalung was real good.
